Free App Store keyword rank tracker
Paste your App Store link and up to 10 keywords to see where your iPhone app ranks in App Store search, down to position 200, in any of 175 countries. Your browser asks Apple’s public iTunes Search API directly, so there is no signup, nothing to install and nothing stored.
App Store only. Ranks come from Apple’s search API, whose order is close to the App Store app’s but not identical.
Track these keywords every day
AsoBeast checks your keywords daily to position 200 on the App Store and Google Play, keeps the history and alerts you when a rank moves. 7 days free, no card.

How to use it
How to check your App Store keyword rankings
Three steps, about ten seconds. Nothing to install and no account.
- 01
Paste your App Store link
Copy the link from your app’s App Store page, or use Share › Copy Link in the App Store app on your iPhone. The numeric app ID works too.
- 02
Add up to 10 keywords
One per line. Use the words people type into App Store search, such as “habit tracker”, rather than your app’s name.
- 03
Pick a country and check
Rankings differ by storefront, so pick the country you care about. Each keyword shows your rank in the top 200 and the 10 apps that rank first.
Method
How accurate is this rank checker?
Close enough to make decisions with, as long as you know where the numbers come from. These are its limits, stated up front.
Apple’s own search data
Each keyword asks Apple’s iTunes Search API for the top 200 iPhone apps and finds yours in that list. AsoBeast’s daily rank checks read the same API, to position 200.
Close, not exact
The API’s order is close to what the App Store app shows but not identical, and it leaves out Apple Search Ads and personal results. Treat a rank as an estimate and watch the trend over days.
iPhone apps only
It covers App Store search on iPhone. iPad-only apps, Mac apps and Google Play are not included, because Google Play has no public search API.
Up to a day old
Apple’s servers can cache an answer for up to 24 hours, so a metadata change may take a day to show. If Apple returns an empty list, the checker asks once more past the cache.
Free check or daily tracking
This free checker compared with AsoBeast
A one-off check tells you where you stand today. Daily tracking shows whether a metadata change worked and warns you when a rank drops.

Questions
App Store keyword ranking questions
How do I check my app’s keyword ranking on the App Store?
Paste your App Store link into the checker above, add up to 10 keywords, pick a country and click Check rankings. You can also search the keyword on an iPhone and count the apps above yours, but that is slow past the first screen, and your history and Apple Search Ads change what you see.
Why is my rank different from what I see on my iPhone?
The App Store app personalizes results by search history, device and location, and shows Apple Search Ads above the results. The search API leaves those out, its order is close to the app’s but not identical, and Apple can cache an answer for up to a day.
What does “Not ranked” mean?
Your app is not in the top 200 results Apple returned for that keyword in that country. Almost no one scrolls that far, so the keyword brings you no search traffic yet. Try a more specific phrase, or work the keyword into your title, subtitle or keyword field.
Does it check Google Play rankings?
No. Google Play has no public search API that a browser can call, so this free checker covers the App Store only. AsoBeast tracks Google Play rankings in 225 locations every day.
Is it free, and is there a limit?
It is free with no signup. One check covers up to 10 keywords because Apple allows about 20 search requests a minute from one connection. If Apple starts refusing, wait a minute and check again.
Do you store my app or keywords?
No. Your browser sends the app ID and keywords straight to Apple, and AsoBeast’s servers never receive them. Nothing is saved, so close the tab and the results are gone.
How often should I check my App Store rankings?
Rankings move every day, and a metadata change usually takes days to settle. A daily check is the usual rhythm, and comparing a week before and after an update shows whether it worked. That is what a rank tracker automates.
What is the difference between keyword rank and category rank?
Keyword rank is your position in App Store search results for one phrase. Category rank is your position on the top charts, which mostly reflect recent downloads. This checker shows keyword rank, and AsoBeast tracks both.
